Is this your first WordCamp? Are you nervous about not knowing anyone? Or do you just love doing fun things with other WordPress peeps? Then WordCamp Warmup is for you.

WordCamp Warmup is a way for campers like you to do something fun the evening before WordCamp starts so that the next day you’ll already have some friends and see familiar faces! This year’s WordCamp Ann Arbor Warmup activities will take place on Friday, August 23rd at 5:30 pm. There are three Warmup activities for you to choose from:

Downtown Ann Arbor Pub Crawl

Love pubs ‘n brews? Join activity leader Janelle Reichman in exploring Ann Arbor’s hottest pubs and sipping on some tasty craft brews. Meeting Location: HopCat 311 Maynard St, Ann Arbor, MI 48104 – Google Maps Link.

Ultimate Frisbee

Love ultimate frisbee? Or been wanting to learn how to play? Join activity leader Kyle Maur in a fun game of ultimate in one of Ann Arbor’s most beautiful parks! Meeting Location: Bilik-Orbach Play Area at Gallup Park 3000 Fuller Rd, Ann Arbor, MI 48105 – Google Maps Link. When you enter Gallup Park from Fuller Rd, take the drive all the way to the end, over the bridge, past the small playground, all the way to the large playground at the end.

Historical Ann Arbor Tour

Looking to learn more about Ann Arbor’s history? Join activity leader and local author Brenda Bentley on a historical walk of Ann Arbor. Topics will include ice-age remains, public art, building architectural styles, and cultural history! Meeting Location: Front steps of Rackham Graduate School 915 E Washington St, Ann Arbor, MI 48109 – Google Maps Link.
