What’s a WordCamp WarmUp?
We’d like to make your WordCamp experience as enjoyable as possible. In doing so, we’d like to present an opportunity for you to expand your WordCamp event by participating in a brief survey and attending a small group icebreaker.
Don’t be intimidated by that icebreaker part. It is going to be a fun event where old time attendees will welcome you, introduce you to others, and make sure you are introduced to attendees with similar interests and who would love to share the experience with you.
This activity is designed to help take the pressure off and allow you to meet new friends and have a few familiar faces when you arrive to WordCamp on Saturday.
Why Should You Consider Attending?
Have you ever attended an event and felt like you were back in high school and not knowing where to sit at lunch? You know that feeling – like you couldn’t find a familiar face and you’re just not sure who is friendly enough to share a moment with while you eat?
Guess what? We did too!
We don’t want WordCamp to feel like that. Nope it’s not going to happen.
Whether you are a new comer or slightly shy WordPress user, we want to help make the event great! So we’re doing our best to make the entire weekend feel warm and welcoming. In doing so we want to give you a friend or buddy to make WordCamp super fun and very rewarding.
